Spray Tan Safe Products
A spray tan can give your skin a beautiful, sun-kissed glow, but it's important to be careful with the skincare products you use while you have a spray tan. Some products can cause your tan to fade or even turn orange, while others can cause irritation or dryness. In this blog post, we will take a look at which skincare products are safe to use with your spray tan.
Moisturizer: It is EXTREMELY important to keep your skin hydrated while you have a spray tan, as dry skin can cause your tan to fade or look uneven. We recommend moisturizing days prior to your tan appointment (especially if you don't normally moisturize your skin). A tan safe moisturizer is free of oils, alcohol, and fragrances, as these ingredients can cause your tan to fade quicker!
Sunscreen: Sunscreen is essential to protect your skin from the sun's UV rays, but it's important to choose a sunscreen that is free of oils and alcohol, as these ingredients can cause your tan to fade.
Cleanser: Choose a gentle, non-irritating cleanser to avoid over-drying or damaging your skin. Avoid using hot water, as this can strip the skin of its natural oils and cause your tan to fade.
